Privacy policy
In short
iLender collects no data. Everything you enter stays on your device. The publisher, Ame Otoko studio, has no access to it and receives no copy.
What the app stores
For each loan: the item, a photo if you add one, the dates, the duration, your notes, and the borrower (name, email address, phone number). This information is kept inside the app, on your device, and nowhere else. If you add a profile photo in Settings, it is shown at the center of the constellation and also stays on your device.
Contacts
The app asks for access to your address book so you can pick the borrower, show their photo and send them a reminder. It reads the contact's name, email address, phone number, photo and identifier. It never writes to your address book. A copy of the name, email and phone number is kept in each loan, on your device.
Camera and photo library
The camera is used to photograph the item you lend. To choose an existing photo, the app uses the system picker: it only sees the photo you choose, never the rest of your library.
Notifications
Reminders (before the due date, on the day, then when a loan is overdue) are local notifications scheduled on your device. No server sends them.
Reminders to borrowers
To follow up with a borrower, the app prepares a message and opens Messages, Mail or Phone. You are the one who sends it. The message goes through your device and your carrier, not through the publisher.
Export
PDF and CSV exports are created on your device. You alone decide where to send or save them.
Sharing
You can share a loan summary (image and text) with the system share sheet. You choose the app and the recipient; the content goes through the service you choose, not through the publisher.
No third parties, no tracking
iLender contains no advertising, no analytics, no third-party component, and sends no data over the Internet.
Retention and deletion
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. You can delete a loan, erase everything with the reset in Settings, or delete the app. Backups of your device that you make yourself, for example with iCloud, are managed by Apple and are outside the publisher's control.
Your rights
Since the publisher holds none of your data, there is nothing to access or erase on its side. For any question, write to contact@ameotokostudio.com. In France you may also contact the CNIL (cnil.fr).
